The Photo Box - Fun Family Photography in Sheffield -

Hi there. For those of you who have found us for the first time, we are Chris and Allie Langham. Our family photography studio is based at Renishaw Hall, near Sheffield. We’re also close to the M1 and just a short distance from Derbyshire. We love capturing treasured portraits for families, and we are constantly on the look out for new and fun ways to keep the kids entertained and capture unique images at the same time.

Here we introduce one of our more recent family photoshoot ideas – The Box!

A Fun Experience For Young Kids

The Photo Box is great for young kids. Sometimes coming to a new place and being with strangers can be a bit daunting for them, but once they see the box they can’t wait to climb in and start playing. After all it’s like a little den for them. You can bring clothes for dress up, toys and other props. All of these look great in the box and make your final wall art more unique.

The other great thing about the Photo Box is it’s quick! Usually kids under 10 can only really last for 30 minutes before getting bored, but we can have a Photo Box shoot finished in 20 minutes.

As parents of two teenage children ourselves we know how difficult it can be to get them into a photo. But the great thing about the Photo Box is they instantly get how cool it looks, and how they can be as cool or as fun as they want.

Are You Worried What you will Look Like in a Family Portrait?

Something that parents love about The Photo Box shoot is that you can have a fantastic feature frame or canvas on the wall of your home without being worried what you look like in the image. Typically there are nine boxes in the final composite image, and a few of these images are usually just of the kids. So those boxes that you’re in will look fantastic but means you won’t dominate the image.
