The smallest and cutest model we have had in the studio

Happy New Year to to all our customers, friends, family and first-time visitors. We’ll start 2015 with this little cutie. Bella popped in just to say hi just before Xmas with her mum, Debra, an old customer and now friend from our previous Dunston Studio.  How could we resist letting this gorgeous little puppy onto the studio floor.  She loved all the attention and was into everything as you can see. An indoor shoot at the studio is ideal for little pooches, but we are also ideally placed at Renishaw Hall & Gardens for stunning outdoor shoots with bigger dogs too.  If you are interested in bringing your beloved canine friend to see us, please feel free to CONTACT US for a chat.

How cute is this Puppy!!

If you’ve been following our previous, if somewhat irregular blog posts, you may recall our friend Emily, who sadly lost her beautiful horse last year. It’s also a year to the day since Emily asked us if we could capture some images of Scooby before he had to be put down, and the images remain to this day some of the most special I have ever taken (Click here if you want to see the images of Scooby). Well a year on and Emily now has this beautiful Labrador puppy called Harley to look after. I adore dogs and as soon as I saw him last week I just had to get a couple of photographs of him. He was a little star in the studio, and  I only wish I could bring him home. If you want to have a portrait of your own dog creating by us then why not give us a call.

New website – again!!

So yet again we’ve decided to revamp our website. Our last website looked lovely but did nothing to help us on Google, so we’ve changed it to, hopefully, a more sleek and easy to navigate website design that also conforms to all the latest Google algorithms. Please have a good look around the new design and let us know what you think, and do please forgive any errors while we personally redesign it page by page. Loads more galleries to add soon too, including dog and horse photography, which is perfect during the summer months in our Derbyshire photography studio.

Dog Photography in the studio – Alfie the Weimaraner

So our new website is finally up and running, and although we have a lot still to do on it, we’re already pleased with the improvements. It’s been a busy few months for us, both with our new photography studio in Chesterfield, the new website, wedding fayre season, and as if that didn’t keep us busy enough we decided to do some dog photography as well. What is it they say – never work with animals and children!?! Well that’s exactly what we’ve been doing, and it’s been great fun. So to start the ball rolling with the new blog we thought we would share a couple of images of this gorgeous Weimaraner dog, called Alfie. Bless him, he was a bit lively in the studio to begin with, but would do anything for a bit of cheese….yes CHEESE!?! Is that common for dogs to like cheese, I don’t know. Hope you like the images anyway. If you or any of your friends and family have a pet dog, cat, cameleon, budgie, stick insect…. you get the idea, then do please tell them that our Chesterfield studio is now open for pet photography. Pet’s become very much a part of […]
