A Wedding in Vegas or Leeds???

“It looks so…. so, Vegas” comments Angela during the viewing of their wedding images recently. It was a comment directed at one of Chris’s favourite images of the day (above) taken at the evening reception. Andy & Angela had just finished watching their day unfold again in front of their very eyes on the cinema screen whilst curled up on our sofa. It was so lovely to see them so comfortable in our home reliving their special day with a sparkle in their eyes and massive smiles on their faces.

Both the wedding ceremony and reception were held at the end of April at the Corn Exchange in Leeds, an unusual circular building with a dome like roof illuminated with hundreds of little spot lights after dark. We even managed to get the security guard to let us into an unused shop for some creative shots of Andy and his best man.

After the wedding ceremony & speeches Andy & Angela very kindly invited us to join them for their contemporary wedding breakfast which was separate little ‘shops’ hidden in the arches around the Exchange. A bread shop, a charcuterie, a cheese shop, a cake shop and a sweetie shop. The food was absolutely incredible, some of the best I have tasted and it was so beautifully presented.

The day went without a hitch and the bride looked stunning, as did the groom of course! With both Chris and I behind the camera the we were able to capture the essence of the day from two angles which made it difficult to eliminate images from the slide show, but we managed to reduce it down to 40 minutes!

We would like to thank Andy & Angela for letting us join them on their special day and wish them much love and every happiness in their future together.
