A contemporary and traditional mix of styles means we have experience in all types of portrait commissions, from pregnancy to babies, toddlers to teenagers,
couples and families, as well as boudoir, fashion and pets.
All portrait photography is taken at our new, state-of-the-art studio in Chesterfield. Images are viewed and selected via a personal slideshow experience in our comfy projection room. Sit back and relax as we advise you on the best images and discuss ideas on advanced photo edits for a truly stylish finish – all part of our service as standard.
The studio has its own parking and is also within travelling distance of Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Worksop, Leeds, Mansfield, Wakefield, Barnsley and many other towns and cities in the Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lincolnshire regions.
For a more personalised experience, our portable studio allows us to bring the photographer to you for photo shoots in your home, garden or other location for any special occasion.

Your questions answered
Where does the photo shoot take place, and how long does it take?
The session can be as short as half an hour or up to two hours, including indoor and outdoor shots. We take as long as is necessary to create a fantastic set of images.
What should we wear on the day?
We always recommend you wear whatever you feel most comfortable in and want to be photographed wearing. Your style could be ripped jeans or a formal suit, we will adapt our photography style and backgrounds accordingly. For informal family and kids photography, jeans and white or solid colour t-shirts work well. Avoid clothes with logos or text as they detract from the subject. If possible bring a plain white and a plain black top; bright bold colours also work really well. Also bring any props or clothing that reflect who you are – it could be a guitar, football, favourite toy, uniform, a little black dress – it’s all about you and your family.
Can you do make-up / hair professionally too?

How do we choose images?
Once your shoot is complete you are invited back 7-10 days later for a personal slideshow experience in our projection room, where we can help you select the best images. We also have samples of the many print and frame styles you can choose from to complement any home décor.
How can we get prints of our chosen images?
We offer a wide range of printed products and frames to suit all styles and budgets. Popular choices are canvas prints, montages and floating frames, as well as standing frames and acrylic desk blocks for a very contemporary look. You can also choose to receive your high resolution images on CD or DVD.
Do you do Gift Vouchers?
Yes, we have vouchers ranging from £25 to the full value of the portrait session plus complimentary prints. It makes a fabulous Valentine’s, birthday or Christmas gift for the special person in your life.
Are we under any obligation to buy?
No, we hope you love your images and would like to order prints, but you are under no obligation to do so.
Can we use the images on Facebook?
Yes of course. For every framed image you purchase we would be more than happy to provide you with a digital image suitable for use on your social networking sites.
